Submission
General Information
Submission will open October 1, 2026 until November 15, 2026.
Borrowing the idea from the previous TeaP organizers in Tübingen (thank you for a great conference!), we would like to enhance content coherence within sessions using a symposium finder for orchestrating thematically coherent symposia. Each symposium should have six slots of which one may be used for an introduction or discussion.
Feel free to use the Symposium Formation Sheet to find a symposium you can present in or find more speakers for your symposium. This sheet is an optional and informal resource provided for your convenience; it is not mandatory to be used, and it does not replace the formal submission.
Each person may submit only one abstract as a presenter (for a talk, for a poster, or for a pre-data poster) but may additionally be a co-author (non-presenter) on other submissions or chair (without a talk but possibly with an introduction or discussion slot) of a symposium. All presenters and chairs must register and pay the registration fee.
As the official conference language is English, please ensure that all contributions are in English.
Symposium
Symposia have to be submitted by the submitting chair until 15 Nov, 2026. If multiple people will be serving as chairs of a symposium, please have only one of them submit but list all chairs in the submission. The submission must include a symposium title, abstract (max. 250 words), three to five keywords, a full list of presenting authors (with affiliation and email), titles, and abstracts (max. 250 words) for each talk.
Each symposium has six slots (of 15 minutes each, talks: 12 minutes talk + 3 minutes discussion) with a minimum of five talks. The sixth slot is optional and can be an additional talk or, alternatively, for an introduction or discussion (with a designated presenter).

You can either reach out to other researchers who indicated that they would like to present in a symposium, or you can create your own entry to indicate that you are planning to chair a symposium and are still looking for presenters. Please note that the sheet is an informal resource, not mandatory to be used, and not a substitute for a formal submission. We encourage symposium organizers to consider diversity among presenters on many dimensions, including demographics, career stages, and affiliations.
It is possible to submit a double symposium, consisting of 12 presentations slots, which should be 10 to 12 talks and up to 2 introductions/
discussions, spread over two consecutive sessions. Both parts should be chaired by the same person(s). The chair(s) should create two separate submissions on our website, and the symposium title should end with ": Part 1” or ": Part 2”. Each abstract should explain the specific focus of that part, while also cross-referencing to make clear how the two parts are connected. Talk outside of a Symposium (Mixed-Session)
Talks have to be submitted until November 15, 2026. The submission must include a title, the full list of authors (with affiliations and email), an abstract summarizing its content (max. 250 words), and three to five keywords. Plan your content for a 12-minute talk (+ 3 minutes for discussion).
Posters
Posters have to be submitted until November 15, 2026. The submission must include a title, the full list of authors, an abstract summarizing its content (max. 250 words), and one to seven keywords. There are two types of posters you can submit:
- Regular posters that include full experimental results.
- Pre-data posters that allow presenting the planned study before the data is collected. This is meant for you to gather feedback on the experimental design from other researchers before conducting the study.
