How can I print online?
You would like to print something out? Just use your ecUM or library card to make printouts or photocopies in any of the libraries. You are somewhere else on campus? No problem! Please use our Online print service Papercut. Papercut is accessible from the university network or via VPN.

How do I top up my virtual print account?
To transfer your ecUM credit to your personal print account, you can now use the UNIT application PayPerecUM. You can use this application on the public computers in the university library. There are two PayPerecUM terminals
- near the desks in the libraries A3 and A5,
- in the Schloss Ehrenhof,
- in the Central Lending Library in the Westflügel, and
- in Schloss Schneckenhof (info center).
You can identify the PayPerecUM terminals on the screen of the university library terminals by the words “Druckkonto aufladen” (“Recharge print account”). When you click on it, the application opens and you are guided step by step through the process, either in German or English:
- place the ecUM on the card reader,
- enter the password for your Uni-ID,
- view your account balances,
- enter the amount to be transferred.
These terminals will replace the self-service terminals in the medium term.
However, you will still have the option of topping up your virtual print account at one of the self-service terminals by transferring any amount from your ecUM to a virtual account at these terminals.
To do this, you will need:
- Your Uni-ID and
- the password for your Uni-ID.
Where can I top up my ecUM?
Topping up your ecUM is easy and comfortable . At the registers in the Mensa, at Café Soleil and the EO Cafeteria you can use cash to top up your ecUM.
