Media Editing Room

The media editing stations at the University of Mannheim offer students and employees extensive services for professionally creating and editing digital media. The team of the University IT (UNIT) is happy to help and support you individually.

The media editing room has nine work stations. You can use the pre-installed programs of Adobe-Collection CS6 to realize your projects or to participate in media courses to edit film, photo and audio material. For professional and high-quality recordings, we also have a sound and video studio, which you can use to further develop your teaching methods or to prepare digital lectures.

Here you will find more information on the terms of use of the media editing stations as well as on the courses and recording studios of the university. If you have more questions on recording or the equipment to further develop the teaching portfolio, the Media Equipment Center is happy to advise you individually.
