Digital Collaboration with Microsoft Teams

We have set up a separate Microsoft Teams instance for students in order to facilitate digital communication and collaboration in self-organized learning groups.

How can I activate my user account?

Please activate you account online at the user administration. For activation, it is required to accept the terms of use and the data protection policy. After you have given your consent, an initial password is generated and displayed which you need for the sign in. Microsoft Teams and other M365 services are usually activated within 48 hours.

You can withdraw your consent at any time via the user administration. As a result, however, your Microsoft 365 user account (including all data stored) will be deleted.

How can I sign in?

Open the website https://teams.microsoft.com and enter the login information:

  • E-mail address: [Uni-ID](at)students365.uni-mannheim.de (please replace „[Uni-ID]“ by your personal Uni-ID)
  • You are now requested to change your initial password.
