VPN Client of the University of Mannheim
Our VPN client allows you to connect to the university network quickly, conveniently and securely from anywhere in the world.
Who can use the VPN client?
The VPN client is only available to staff members, enrolled doctoral students, students (including senior and visiting students) and senior academic staff members (Privatdozent*innen) at the University of Mannheim.
To gain VPN access, you must first download the VPN client compatible with your operating system (Windows, macOS, iOS, or Android). The installation is quick and easy.
You simply need:
- your Uni-ID (user ID) and
- your password for this ID

Service availability
We guarantee a 99.9 percent service availability. However, we cannot exclude downtime in individual cases.
