Head of Institute

Michael Woywode has been Director of the Institute for SME Research (ifm) and holder of the Chair of SME Research and Entrepreneurship at the University of Mannheim since September 2007. His scientific work has appeared in high-ranking economic journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Organisation Studies and the American Journal of Sociology. Well-known foundations such as the Volkswagen Foundation, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the German Research Foundation have provided financial support for his research projects to date.
