Robert Dehghan studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta during his bachelor's degree. He also holds a Master of Science from the University of Mannheim with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Management and completed an exchange semester at the Graduate School of Management in St. Petersburg. During his studies, he was chairman of the student council for business administration and co-founder of the Q-Summit, an annual conference for entrepreneurship and innovation at the University of Mannheim. After completing his bachelor's degree, he gained experience in start-ups and consulting companies and founded his own start-up Pacific Straws, where he is still responsible for business development today. He is also co-founder and COO of the AI company ISTARI.AI. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Chair of SME Research and Entrepreneurship. As part of his research in the field of adoption and diffusion of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and 3D printing, he completed a research stay at Stanford University.
