Erika Ni

Short profile

Erika Ni is a GESS Ph.D. candidate and has been working as a research assistant at the entrepreneurship and SME research chair since September 2022. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (B.Sc.) from the University of Mannheim and a Masters's Degree in Business and Management (M.Sc.) from the Stockholm School of Economics, where she won the Karl-Erik Wärneryd Award for her master thesis on social entrepreneurship. During her studies, she spent one semester at EAFIT University in Medellín, Colombia, and one at EGADE Business School in Monterrey, Mexico. After graduating, Erika worked for a top-tier strategy consultancy, before moving to innovation consulting and business development roles. Her research interest lies within the area of entrepreneurial behavior, entrepreneurial emotions and well-being.

Erika teaches the master courses MAN 631 “Creativity and Entrepreneurship in Practice”, as well as MAN 634 “Entrepreneurial Behavior and Crowdfunding Social Ventures”. Erika supervises both bachelor and master theses around different entrepreneurial topics.
