Workshop on Advances in Climate Technologies

The Mannheim Institute for Sustainable Energy Studies (MISES) is pleased to host an interdisciplinary workshop on Advances in Climate Technologies, in the barock castle of the University of Mannheim on October 28, 2024.
This workshop seeks to convene academic researchers and practitioners from industry and policy. The main goal is to inform about the readiness and economic viability of select technologies with the potential to significantly advance the transition to a decarbonized economy. Applicable examples of advancing climate technologies include Hydrogen and E-Fuels, Energy storage, Shared autonomous electric vehicles, Carbon capture and sequestration, Carbon removals, Climate engineering.
Each subject presentation will be followed by a 20-minute open discussion. There will also be a plenary discussion following the final presentation of the day.
