The Freunde der Universität Mannheim Network
As a member of “Freunde der Universität Mannheim”, you are part of a special network.
On the one hand, our members consist of University of Mannheim graduates, especially older alumni. By being part of the network, they remain closely linked to “their” university. On the other hand, our members include approx. 100 companies and institutions of all sizes that have a special relationship with the University of Mannheim because of its excellent reputation in economic and social sciences. This also includes a number of startups founded by University of Mannheim graduates. The members of our board of trustees hold respectable positions in business and society and share their experiences and connections with us.
In addition to having this interesting network of members, we also benefit from having access to the President's Office, to chairs, to professors and the knowledge culture of the university. Thus, the “Freunde der Universität Mannheim” are the gateway to the University of Mannheim.
The “Freunde der Universität Mannheim”, whose members come from different social and economic backgrounds, make a valuable contribution to the further development of the University of Mannheim, which has an excellent reputation – not only in Germany but worldwide. For this reason, Südzucker is always interested in attracting talents from the University of Mannheim.
