Event on the role of shareholders in family businesses
Shareholders in family businesses have many opportunities to play an active role in the company. In addition to traditional succession, there are many other ways to play an active role in the company. Membership of a supervisory or advisory board or involvement in the family foundation are just two examples of how you can bring your own role in the company to life. A current event organised by the Institut für Mittelstandsforschung (Institute for SME Research) presents successful examples of taking on roles and discusses the challenges that need to be considered in each case.
After a keynote speech by Professor Michael Woywode, Julius Dittmann (Titus), Michael Fuchs (Pepperl&Fuchs), Prof Dr Dario Müller (Darios GmbH) and Dr Christian Klaiber (Director Friedrichshafener Institut für Familienunternehmen FIF) will present their own roles in the family business. Guests are very welcome.
The event is part of a new series entitled ‘Success Factor Family Business’. Further events on the topics of ‘Succession’, ‘Values’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence’ will follow at regular intervals.
