Scholarships

For most students at the University of Mannheim, a scholarship means one thing above all: freedom. The financial support provided by a scholarship enables students to focus on their academic achievements and continue their voluntary work. Scholarships form part of the promotion of young talent; however, social commitment as well as the cultural or family background are just as important factors as good grades.

Since 2007, the University of Mannheim has been offering grants. More than 250 students receive a scholarship every year. A sophisticated and multifaceted scholarship system ensures that different target groups are taken into account. Our close network of partners, sponsors, and funding organizations supports the scholarship holders in their studies and helps them start their professional careers. For example, it is possible to benefit from the experience of the sponsors or to obtain an internship placement.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please inform yourself as early as possible: You must observe the application deadlines and take into account that our selection process may take several months.
