In the spring of 2022, a wildflower meadow was planted behind the Schloss Mittelbau towards the Rhine. It is an important food source for insects and a good way to improve the sustainability of less ecologically diverse environments such as lawns.

The wildflower meadow was planted by the state office for property and construction Mannheim/
