Microsoft 365 for Students
The University of Mannheim provides its students with their own instance for the Microsoft 365 cloud service to support students when collaborating in self-organized learning groups. Besides the Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio (basic version) this includes the following applications:
- Teams
Communicate virtually with individual people or groups via chat or video and audio conference.

How can I activate my account?
The Microsoft 365 applications are activated online via the user administration. Usually, this takes up to 48 hours. For this, it is necessary to accept the Terms of Use and the Data Protection Policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the user administration settings. As a result, however, your Microsoft 365 user account (including all data stored) will be deleted.
