TransforMA: Technology and knowledge transfer for the active shaping of transformation processes

With the project “TransforMA – technology and knowledge transfer for the active shaping of transformation processes”, the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences and the University of Mannheim are positioning themselves as a regional competence center for designing transformation processes.

The focus on technology and science and the industry orientation of the coordinating Mannheim University of Applied Sciences complement the social and economic orientation of the University of Mannheim, which in particular contributes to social and sustainability perspectives.

The aim of this ambitious concept of both universities is to strengthen the transfer of technology and knowledge to identify transformation needs and shape transformation processes in close cooperation with regional stakeholders from business and society.

TransforMA addresses the essential needs of the regional innovation ecosystem in five subprojects.
