Awareness

The Institute of Sport stands for fair and respectful interaction in sports. In order to raise awareness, provide education, and foster appreciation in and through sports, we have developed a range of measures within university sport to address this important issue across all organizationals levels.

Since 2025, all people working in university sports have to sign a Code of Conduct, which is an integral part of the contracts for our instructors, as is the awareness training. Both measures are intended to raise awareness of the responsibility that employees and instructors bear and to make them aware of their duty to treat each other respectfully and appropriately. The guidelines of the Code of Conduct also apply to all participants in university sports, which must be confirmed when booking the Sportscard. In addition, we are expanding our sports program with offers to sensitize and strengthen participants, such as the self-assertion course for FLINTA* in cooperation with the AStA, and offer courses in protected spaces for FLINTA*.
