Due to the fluctuation of students, the Institute of Sports is almost always looking for trainers for our sports programme as well as scientific assistants for our office. We are currently looking for support for the following sports:

  • Instructors at University Sports

    The Institute of Sports is always looking for new instructors who are competent in their discipline. The pay is regulated by a framework agreement and amounts to EUR 12/hour or EUR 9/45mins.

    Please send a short application via e-mail or print it out and bring it directly to the Institute of Sports. We will get in touch with you as fast as possible. You will then be invited for an interview. During the interview the focus is on getting to know each other, further information will be given as well.

    If an advertised position has already been filled or if you are sending an unsolicited application, we would like to keep your documents until we are able to hire you, if you  agree to that.

    Right now we need instructors for the following disciplines:

    Fitness / Aerobic / Fit and Fun / Power Move
    Pilates
    Spinning
    Step dance
    Yoga
    Zumba

  • Student Assistants

    Student assistants at the Institute of Sports help with the organisation and administration of university sports. Teamwork, sincerity, dedication, and social skills are important for working at the Insitute of Sports.

    Student assistants at the Institute of Sports are officially student assistants of the University of Mannheim and therefore need to be enrolled as students and be at least first-year students or older. Employment contracts are limited to one term and end at the latest after four years. Working hours are 6 hours to 12 hours a week, remuneration is regulated by a framewok agreement, this translates to currently EUR 10,01/hour.
