Donor Wall
Generous support deserves visible recognition. For this reason, the University of Mannheim Foundation has established a Donor Wall in the east wing of Mannheim Palace – a lasting symbol of gratitude to all those whose contributions play a vital role in shaping the future of our university.
Located on the mezzanine level of the historic palace, the Donor Wall showcases the wide-ranging commitment of companies, institutions, alumni, and friends of the University of Mannheim. It is more than just a design feature – it represents a vibrant culture of giving and a strong network that sustainably supports the university’s development.
The Donor Wall was officially inaugurated on November 30, 2018, in a festive ceremony. Invited guests, donors, and university representatives came together to celebrate its unveiling. Since then, the wall has continued to grow – with every new donation that supports teaching, research, and young talent.
With the Donor Wall, the Foundation not only expresses its gratitude but also fosters transparency and inspiration: it demonstrates the tangible impact of individual and institutional contributions – and invites others to join in supporting the future of the University of Mannheim.

New names on the donor wall – a sign of ongoing support
The University of Mannheim Foundation is pleased to announce that new names have recently been added to the Donors' Wall. This means that the wall continues to grow – a welcome sign of the ongoing commitment to our university.
New additions to the Donor Wall include SAP SE, SNP SE, PERI SE, and CBS Corporate Business Solutions GmbH.
In addition, the Donor Wall will henceforth commemorate Mr. Cafer Yilmaz. Through an endowment established by his wife in his memory, which will provide long-term funding for scholarships, his name will remain permanently associated with supporting students and the University of Mannheim.
Our sincere gratitude extends not only to the donors whose names appear on the Donor Wall. We also wish to thank all those supporters who, often behind the scenes, are committed to advancing the University of Mannheim.
Every contribution—regardless of its size—helps to strengthen the future of our university in a lasting and meaningful way.
