Policies of Theodor-Heuss-Anlage

1. Prerequisites for participation
Only parties who are eligible to participate in university sports at the University of Mannheim  and in possession of proof are allowed to access the venues of university sports. The proof of eligibility has to be shown unprompted to the supervisor.

2. Opening Hours/ Access
The Theodor-Heuss-Anlage is open during courses and free training. It closes 20 minutes after the last course. The venue is closed on public holidays. The Institute of Sports asks all participants to please respect the starting times of the courses. Instrcutors are allowed to exclude a participant for technical and health reasons in cases of long delays. Instructors are also allowed to limit the number of participants if a course is overcrowded.

3. Clothes and Hygiene
Participants have to wear clean indoor sports shoes that are not worn outside. Appropriate sports clothes are mandatory. A towel may be required for use on the mats for hygiene reasons. Lockers are available in the entrance area and free of charge. Beverages are allowed in break-proof lidded bottles, beverages can also be bought at the reception. Glass bottles and the consumption of food are not allowed. Colouring or tinting hair is not allowed in the bathrooms as well as shaving.

4. Proper Use of Facilities And Equipment
Participants have to put away the equipment they used during the courses. Emergency exits have to remain easily accessible. The users are liable for intentional or negligent damages or soiling of the venues, as well as for other damages they cause. Bikes are not allowed inside the venues, they have to be parked within the designated areas. Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the venue.

5. House Regulations
The supporting organisation or a commissioned supervisor exercise the domiciliary rights over the venue. The instructors'/supervisors' orders have to be followed. Violations of the house regulations and/or the prerequisites for participation may result in exclusion from the further use of the venue.
