First, we would like to welcome our newest cohort of PhD Candidates: Ruben Laukenmann, Maren Mayer, Nils Petras, Marcel Schreiner, Annika Stump, Marie Wieschen and Constantin Meyer-Grant.
And during the semester, we will again welcome some highly valued external guests:
- Jeffrey Miller, who will give a joint workshop together with Rolf Ulrich in Tübingen (NHST reloaded: Recent developments) and will also be our guest and give a keynote talk at our retreat on November 29 -30 in Heidelberg,
- Andreas Brandmaier, who will give a workshop in Mannheim (An Introduction to Machine Learning),
- Klaus Fiedler, who will give a joint workshop together with Mandy Hütter in Heidelberg (The Role of Theorizing for strong Psychological Science), and
- Paul Bürkner, who will give a workshop in Mannheim (Introduction to Stan: A Probabilistic Programming Language for Bayesian Inference).
