Participating Researchers

The DFG Research Training Group “Statistical Modeling in Psychology” (SMiP) is a transregional collaboration of thirteen renowned behavioral researchers from five German universities: University of Mannheim (Arndt Bröder, Edgar Erdfelder, Beatrice Kuhlmann, Thorsten Meiser, Sabine Sonnentag), Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg (Andrea Kiesel, Karl Christoph Klauer), Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg (Andreas Voss), RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau at Landau (Benjamin Hilbig, Tanja Lischetzke, Eunike Wetzel), and Eberhard Karls University Tübingen (Mandy Hütter, Rolf Ulrich).

Jeffrey N. Rouder and Lesa Hoffman support the SMiP group as Mercator fellows. Both of them will visit the Research Training Group repeatedly and offer both basic and advanced workshops.

Daniel Heck joined the SMiP group in October 2017 as PostDoc at the University of Mannheim. Since October 2019 Daniel Heck is Professor of Psychological Methods at the Philipps-Universität Marburg.

Martin Schnuerch successfully completed the SMiP qualification program and became the group's PostDoc in March 2020.
