Possible thesis topics
PhD students are welcome to devise their own thesis topic, preferably in one of the following areas: modeling affect dynamics and affect regulation using intensive longitudinal data, modeling the effects of design features in intensive longitudinal data on data quantity and data quality. However, some possible thesis topics are listed here:
- Modeling effects of participant burden in intensive longitudinal studies on measurement invariance over time using latent Markov factor analysis
- Investigating (and adjusting for) the effects of response styles in emotion dynamics measures using divide-by-total item response theory models
