Minrui Gong was born in Chengdu, China. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in finance from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and a Master’s degree in finance from the University of Mannheim. During his undergraduate studies, Minrui spent one semester at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Thereafter, he gained a solid knowledge in financial theories and empirical methods thanks to the research-oriented Master’s program he participated in. In 2020, Minrui joined the finance track of the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business.
