Yasmin Hoffmann was born in Neu-Ulm, Germany. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies in Healthcare Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Neu-Ulm, Germany and with a Master's degree in Management with a focus on Accounting from the University of Mannheim. During her studies she spent one semester in England at Durham University. Moreover, she worked as a student research assistant at the Chair of Business Administration and Accounting of Prof. Dr. Dirk Simons and gained practical insights through internships in different fields such as Accounting and M&A. Her Master Thesis examined the effect of uncertainties about managers' reporting incentives on corporate disclosure.
