Theresa Fricke was born in 1994 in a town close to Cologne, Germany. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in International Cultural and Business Studies with a focus on the South East Asian economy from the University of Passau. During her studies, she spent one semester in South Africa at the University of Stellenbosch. After a year of internships in diverse Marketing (Analytics) departments, she moved to Mannheim, Germany and completed her Master’s degree in Management (MMM) while focusing on Sustainable Business and Nonprofit Management. During her studies, she worked in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) departments of SAP SE and Hays PLC. Her Master Thesis in cooperation with Hays examined organizational contingencies on the launch of Corporate Volunteering programs as a successful CSR tool. Theresa joined the Management Track at the Centre for Doctoral Studies in Business in September 2021.
