Laura Montenbruck

Laura was born in 1993 in Munich. She obtained her bachelor degrees in International Cultural and Business Studies as well as Business Administration and Economics from the University of Passau. After that, she did her master’s in Development Economics at the University of Göttingen. During this time, she worked as a student assistant at RWI and at the University’s Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. In her master thesis, she analyzed the relationship between plot size misreporting and farmer and plot characteristics among smallholder farmers in Northern Ghana. Laura complemented her program by several stays abroad for studies and internships in countries such as Canada, Argentina, South Africa, and Ghana.

Her main research interests are in Development Economics, Applied Microeconomics, and Impact Evaluation. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, travelling and learning new languages.
