Antonela Gjinaj

Antonela was born in 1999 in Albania. She obtained her B.Sc. in International Economics and Marketing from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and her M.Sc. in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Bologna. During her time in Bologna, she worked as a research assistant and as a teaching assistant in econometrics at both undergraduate and graduate levels. In her Master’s thesis, she examined the macroeconomic impact of extreme climate shocks on the Italian economy. Following her Master’s, she spent two years as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at Bocconi University, contributing to projects in the fields of asset pricing, corporate finance, and development finance.

Antonela’s main research interests lie in macroeconomics, monetary economics, macro-finance, and climate economics.
