Dingbang Feng was born in China. In 2014, he graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT, China) with a Bachelor's degree in Optical Information Science and Engineering. After working for two years as a CAE engineer at Samsung in Tianjin, China, he changed his academic focus to Economics and pursued his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics at the University of Mannheim. During his studies at the University of Mannheim, Dingbang served as a long-term Teaching Assistant for Microeconomics A and worked as a Research Assistant in the “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics” department at ZEW. His research interests lie in Industrial Organization and International Economics.
