Julius Protte

Julius Protte is a doctoral candidate at the CDSS. Prior to his studies, he worked for several years as a residential youth careworker in the German youth welfare system. He completed his bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Jena, followed by a master's degree in clinical psychology and psychotherapy at the University of Mannheim.

During his studies, he worked as a student research assistant at various chairs, including the Chair of General Psychology II (University of Jena), the Chair of Clinical-Psychological Intervention (University of Jena), and the Chair of Psychological Methodology and Diagnostics (University of Mannheim). His master's thesis investigated the applicability of Bayesian models to diagnostic questions.

His research interests include quantitative psychological methods, diagnostic tools, psychotherapy, and child and adolescent research.
