Katharina Mengler is a doctoral candidate in Psychology at the CDSS. She holds a master’s degree in Developmental and Clinical Psychology from Heidelberg University and gained research experience in various departments of Heidelberg University Hospital during her studies. Since 2024, she has been affiliated with the Chair of Clinical Psychology, Interaction, and Psychotherapy Research at the University of Mannheim. 

Her research focuses on psychotherapy processes, particularly on the concepts of mentalization and the interpersonal competencies of psychotherapists.
