Adrian Rebmann and Han van der Aa from the Process Analytics Research Group have received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAISE) 2023 in Zaragoza Spain, for their paper entitled “Unsupervised Task Recognition from User Interaction Streams”.
Their paper presents a novel approach to gain insights into the different tasks that workers perform (such as handling incoming customer orders), by analyzing streams of low-level data, corresponding to the interactions of workers (e.g., clicking buttons or filling in a field) with applications such as e-mail, Excel, and web apps.
