Bastian Koch was born in Minden, Germany. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Business Administration at Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf. During his Bachelor, he spent one semester at the International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University in China. After one year of internships at Beiersdorf AG in Hamburg and BMW AG in Munich, Bastian went back to China to obtain his Master Degree in Finance from Peking University and Chinese Language Studies from Communications University China. Bastian joined the Finance Track of the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business in September 2021.
