Henrietta Oppong-Adjei was born in Ghana. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Ghana. After her first degree she spent a year in one of the rural areas in Ghana teaching mathematics to students in High School. She also spent the five years teaching mathematics to students in the middle and primary school in International Community School in Ghana. In 2018, she decided to continue her studies and started a master’s degree in quantitative finance and insurance at the University of Torino, Italy. Henrietta completed this degree in November 2020 and started a PhD in the Finance Track at the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business in September 2021.
