Jan Schilpp was born in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. He obtained his Bachelor‘s degree (B.A.) in Political Science and Business Administration at the University of Mannheim, during which he spent one semester abroad at the University of Windsor, Canada. After a year of internships, one at the German railway infrastructure manager DB Netz AG in Frankfurt and one at PwC in Saarbrücken, Jan came back to Mannheim to acquire his Master‘s degree (M.Sc.) in Management (MMM). During his graduate studies he worked at the Chair of Enterprise Systems as a student assistant and as a working student for PwC in Frankfurt. Jan joined the Information Systems Track of the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business in September 2021.
