Johannes was born in Mainz am Rhein, Germany. In 2018, he received his Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the DHBW Stuttgart in cooperation with the Robert Bosch GmbH. Thereafter, he completed his Master’s degree in Management at the University of Mannheim in 2020, specializing in taxation. During his studies, Johannes spent two semesters abroad, one at the Copenhagen Business School and one at HEC Paris. Moreover, he worked as a student research assistant at the Chair of Corporate Finance and interned at Deloitte Consulting. Before joining the Taxation Track at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences in 2021, Johannes worked as a research associate at the German Business Panel (SFB 266 – Accounting for Transparency).
