Vincent Giese was born in Lüneburg, Germany. He holds a Bachelor‘s degree (B.Sc.) in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim and spent one semester abroad at the University of Washington Foster School of Business in Seattle, USA. Before starting his Master‘s degree (M.Sc.) in Management (MMM, Mannheim) he acquired practical experiences during a year of internships, one at an industrial company in the chemical sector and two in consulting/ corporate restructuring. Vincent spent the second year of his Master‘s studies at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy as part of a double degree program. Next to the MMM, he therefore holds a degree (M.Sc.) in Accounting, Financial Management and Control from Bocconi University.  During his graduate studies, Vincent worked at the Chair of Business Administration and Accounting in Mannheim as a student assistant and tutor and held a similar position in the Area of Accounting Research at Bocconi University. Vincent joined the Accounting Track of the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business in September 2021.
