Youpeng Zhang obtained his master’s degree in economics at the University of Cologne and studied as a guest student at the University of Bonn. During his master’s studies, he worked at several research institutions, such as ECONtribute Excellence Cluster, Macrofinance & Macrohistory Lab at the University of Bonn, briq – Institute on Behavior and Inequality, and IZA – Institute of Labor Economics. He was a visiting scholar at Harvard University and worked as a research assistant at Harvard Law School. In 2021, he joined the doctoral program in finance at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business. His main research interests focus on behavioral finance, household finance, and labor economics.
