Tobias Kreuz was born in Nuremberg, Germany in 1995. After a voluntary year as a home school assistant in Papua New Guinea he studied Economics at the University of Münster.

During his studies he worked as a student assistant at the Institute of Economic Education Münster and took part in exchange programs at the Université Catholique de Lille (France) and ISM Vilnius (Lithuania).

Before joining the Taxation Track at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences in 2022, Tobias worked as a research associate at the German Business Panel (TRR 266 – Accounting for Transparency) and the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim.
