Florian, born in Mannheim, Germany, earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Informatics from the University of Mannheim. During his studies, he tutored several undergraduate courses across various departments and continuously worked as a student assistant under Prof. Dr. Heinzl. He published a paper on Explainable Artificial Intelligence within the context of Medical Imaging.

Florian's primary research interest centers around Artificial Intelligence, with a particular emphasis on generative models and their practical applications in business and medical domains. Continuing his academic journey, Florian joined the Information Systems track of the Center of Doctoral Studies in Business in September 2023.
