Florian Rues

Florian was born and raised in Pfronten, Germany. In his Bachelor’s, he studied Business Administration with a focus on International Management and Data Mining at the University of Applied Sciences in Kempten. After that, he joined the Mannheim Master in Management program with a focus on Strategic Management and Finance.

In his Master Thesis, he empirically investigated the causes and effects of the global shrinking stock markets phenomenon. Florian completed various internships and working student positions both in larger corporations and in smaller start-ups. Florian joined the Management track of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business in 2023.
