Anna-Lena Herforth completed her Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Mannheim in 2024, with a Master’s thesis exploring the sensitivity of green premium estimates to methodological choices in matched sampling. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Economics and Communication Sciences from the University of Münster in 2021. As part of her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester at the Dublin City University Business School, focusing her studies on Finance.
Next to her studies, Anna-Lena gained professional experience in internships at the Deutsche Bundesbank, the German Economic Institute, and the Hamburgisches WeltWirtschaftsInstitut. Furthermore, she worked as a student assistant at the ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research, the Alfred-Weber Institute Heidelberg, and the University of Münster.
Anna-Lena joined the Finance Track of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences in September 2024.
