In 2021, Weiqing Tong earned a Bachelor’s in Gaming Management from the University of Macau. He then pursued a Master’s in Business Analytics at NHH Norwegian School of Economics and Mannheim Master in Management at the University of Mannheim. His master thesis explored how using analytics dashboards affects individual well-being and performance. During his studies, Weiqing gained practical experience in pricing and marketing at Bosch and BASF, and worked as a student research assistant at Fraunhofer. In September 2024, he joined the Operations Management track at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences.
