Xinyan Wu was born in Shandong China. In 2020, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in China. During her undergraduate studies, she gained practical experience in accounting through an internship.
Subsequently, Xinyan received her Master’s degree in Management with a focus on Accounting and Taxation from the University of Mannheim in 2023. Throughout her studies in Mannheim, she worked as a student research assistant for the Chair of Accounting & Capital Markets, where she acquired valuable research insights into accounting.
Xinyan joined the Accounting track of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences in September 2024.
