Ziheng Sun

Ziheng Sun was born in Zhejiang, China. In 2022, he graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance in Philadelphia, US. In 2024, he graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, US, with a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance. Along the way to completing the MQF, he also took a series of economics courses from the Master’s program in Applied Economics at the UMD.
During his studies at the UMD, he served as a Teaching Assistant with Professor Haluk Unal and as a Graduate Assistant with the Director of Financial Labs Mr. Charles LaHaie at the business school. While serving as a TA, he assisted Professor Unal with supervising two master-level classes, Fixed Income Analysis and Fixed Income Derivatives. When being a GA, he mainly serviced data retrievals for research conducted by Professors of Finance and helped undergraduate and master students with using financial software, for example, Refinitiv Workspace, Bloomberg, Morningstar, etc. In September 2024, Ziheng joined the Finance track of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences.
