Carl-Christian was born in 1994 in Speyer, Germany. He completed his bachelor and master degree in Economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich. The main focus of his master degree was in the field of econometrics and he wrote his master thesis in the field of international trade. During his studies he worked as a research assistant for the Seminar of Economic Theory and the Chair of Empirical Economic Research of the LMU Munich. In addition, he held a tutorial for the course ‘Microeconomics I’ in the winter semester 2012/13. He was also a member of the scholarship program of Bayerische Eliteakademie. Furthermore, he was part of a group that won the ‘Forschungspreis für exzellente Studierende der LMU München’ in 2014 for a research project in the field of behavioral economics.

Carl-Christian receives a scholarship from the Foundation “Geld und Währung”.
