Dam Thi Anh was born in 1990 in Ha Noi, Vietnam. She obtained her bachelor degree in International Economics at the Foreign Trade University, Vietnam. After that, she attended the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena for her master’s degree in Economics. During her master studies, she worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Macroeconomics and the Chair of Business Dynamics, Innovation and Economic Change. In her master’s thesis, she empirically analysed the relationship between the global patters of trade and the Ecological Footprint. She completed her graduate studies with distinction.

Her main research interests are environmental economics, international trade and behavioral economics. In her free time, she likes cooking and playing table tennis.
