Andrii Tarasenko was born in Kherson (Ukraine) in 1994. He received his bachelor’s degree in Sumy State University and MA in Economic Analysis in a joint program of Kyiv School of Economics and the University of Houston. His master thesis, focused on testing learning-by-exporting hypothesis for Ukrainian firms, was awarded the Best KSE Master thesis 2018. During the second year provided teaching assistance for Macroeconomics and Big Data Econometrics in Python. Worked as a research assistant for Ukrainian NGO “Centre for Economic Strategy” and “VOX Ukraine”.

His research interests include International trade, Industrial organization, and Econometric methods for panel data.
