Sandra holds a master’s degree in International and Development Economics from Australian National University and a bachelor’s degree in Regional and City Planning from Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia. Before joining the CDSE, she conducted research at the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K), Office of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. Prior to that, she worked as a researcher in an education partnership program between Australian and Indonesian government agencies.

Her main research interests are international trade, development economics, and economic geography.
