Tania was born in Quito, Ecuador. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador and her Master’s degree in Economic Development and Growth in a joint Double Degree Program between Carlos III University (Spain) and Lund University (Sweden). After that, she earned a Master’s degree in Economics of Public Policy at Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (Spain). She gained experience in economic policy analysis by being involved in the different stages of the policy making process while working as a public officer in Ecuador.
Her research interests include public and development economics.
