Yulia was born in 1995 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia. She obtained her bachelor's degree at the joint program of Higher School of Economics and New Economic School (Moscow). During her bachelor years she worked as a research assistant at HSE. She continued her education at the master program of New Economic School. Her master thesis is connected with developing an evolutionary mechanism for public good provision.

Yulia's research interests are behavioral economics, game theory and political economics. Her hobbies are psychology, drawing, skiing and foreign languages.
